Elio Lamacchia is a dancer, trained in contemporary and hip-hop techniques at the CFP Arts of Geneva from 2021 to 2025.

Gradually, he has established his career within the swiss dance scene, collaborating with prominent brands and organizations such as Clinique, EPFL, Orma, La Nuit de la Philosophie, Compagnie Sud, 30 years of Usine a gaz with Delgadofuchs...

In addition to his performance career, Elio has cultivated his teaching expertise, notably participating in the Spark project where he taught hip-hop and conducted various classes between Lausanne and Geneva.

Elio is also deeply engaged in the Swiss hip-hop culture and regularly participating in various events.

Alongside his dance career,

he co-founded ATVRÏ and Utopia Swiss. This initiative allows him to share his second passion—DJing—while organizing a wide range of events that bring energy to the scene. These associations are known for their welcoming atmosphere and inclusive spirit, attracting diverse audiences and creating unique moments of connection. From small gatherings (bars, etc.) to larger events (Montreux Jazz Festival, Fête de la Musique), these associations play an active role in energizing the cultural and nightlife scene.

During his training, Elio Lamacchia participated in several workshops led by choreographers such as Gerald Durant, Kiyan Khoshoie, DelgadoFuchs, Nicolas Cantillons...

Elio's main focus is improvisation, where he blends his techniques in a continuous exploration of new forms and qualities.

By deconstructing his body and gaining a deeper understanding of movement, he works on connecting physical sensations with mental processes—exploring how movement influences thought and vice versa.

Through this approach, Elio constantly seeks new pathways in his dance, allowing his unique style to evolve and express itself freely.

In February 2024, he was awarded the Jury Prize for his third-year solo performance, titled "9.81".
